2011 Dollars from Donors
We wouldn't be here without the support of our friends and business owners in the community! A heartfelt THANKS to our 2011 donors and all who have donated to us in past years. We are happy that so many realize what an asset we are to the children of Greene County and want to be a part of our continued success. We appreciate your support!
Contribution deductibility - The GCELC is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is treated as a public charity. Contributions made to the GCELC are deductible under Section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
Employer matching grants - Does your employer have a matching gift giving policy? Often times employers will match a portion of proceeds employees wish to donate to a non-profit organization. Many times they will match dollar for dollar up to a certain limit. Won't you research their policy and consider the GCELC the next time you make a donation?
